WSEVENTEEN The Seniors of 1944 presented for their annual play, Hseventeenn, based on Booth Tarkington's novel of the same name by Hugh Stanislaus Strange and Stannard Mears. uSeven- teenu was presented on Friday, March 31, by special arrange - ment with Samuel French, Inc. New York, New York. Two sets of scenery were made for the play by the Senior boys. The first act is in the living room of the Baxter home . The second act is on the porch of the Parcher house. The third act is in the Baxter living room and the fourth is 'on the Parcher porch. nSeventeenH is an account of the life of a typical seventeen year old boy ---- his home life, love affairs and juvenile ideas. Willie Baxter KnSeventeenNJ and his eleven year old sister would probably remind you of the neighbor- hood children with their pranks, quarrels and Uninterested in girls before meeting Lola Pratt, in the Parcher home, Willie fell desperately in love with her. His attempts to secure a dress suit in order to favor- ably impress Miss Pratt are very humorous. His efforts to secure her affections were unsuccessful, but he finally dis- tattling. a visitor covered tha his love for her was not lasting.
