A4 wks? 0900 PREV RICATOR In the fall of 1952 28 br1ll1ant lookmg genruses entered the halls of Healy Memorlal Hlgh School Every one of the twenty f1VB members remamxng has attalned an average of 99 Wh1Ch of course shall neve agatn be attamed Our baseball team was def1n1tely super1or It set the best record 1n the hrstory of Trempealeau when rt re cerved the frrst trophy ever won stnce 1932 when the school was f1rst esrablrshed In fact the boys were so outstandmg the Yankees asked them to joln the1r club The basketball team was also superlor We could have won that trophy too but we wanted to leave somethlng fo the other classes to strtve for We must not forget the cheerleaders who led us 1n all our cheers If the other team would have taken a good look at them whrle they were dorng a cheer they wouldn t have been able to keep the1r mrnd on the game The prom was stupendous W1th such capable 'nanagement who can tell to what herghts we may r1se Maybe one of us w1ll be Presldent of the Unrted States who knows' The actors 1D our two class plays gave such marvelous performances that talent scouts from Hollywood asked them to aud1t1on for Arthur Godfrey Of course golng to Hollywood was out of the quesuon these students had too many other engagements Imagrne what klnd of a band th1s school would have had 1f1t hadn t been for the Senrors We supplred the entrre trombone SCCIIOH not to mentton the fabulous playrng of the Semor clarlnetrsts drummer base clar 1net1st and saxophone players Can t you just see some of these talented people 1U the Plulharmontc Orches U3 The grfted stngers of our class w1ll be plannrng to make the1r debut at Carnegre Hall wrthrn a few years that 1S unless they are too busy s1ng1ng rn one of the broadway musrcals whrch of course w1ll be wrrtten by one of our ltterary composers We have been an extra ordrnary class throughout all four years of our hrgh school career 1U Tempealeau Someday you underclassmen w1ll be able to look back and pomt out wrth prtde and say I went to school wrth hrm or She was an upperclassman of mrne Complrments of COAST TO COAST STORE IOHN C QUINN ATTORNEY HAMMER 84 ENGHAGEN CO JOHN S MOTOR SALES KOLLER SUPER MARKET CITY BAKERY Galesvrlle WISCOHSIH 4 I ' 'QA CC- x ' fs 6,
