It is an enrichment program designed to reinforce reading and math skills for all tenth graders. The reading portion emphasizes such areas as note taking, study skills, vocabulary development, and test taking. In the math area an individualized plan is designed for each student bas- ed on the results of diagnostic tests. The instructors are Mrs. Coffman for English and Ms. Snadra Smith for math. is

The National Honor Society is an organization which recognizes the achievement of a student's academic ex- cellence. Requirements are a 3.5 grade point average, faculty approval, and other character requirements. Members held bake sales to raise money for stoles for the graduating seniors. Faculty spon- sors are Dr. Brabinsky and Mr. Roddy. Officers are President, Angela Hudxong Vice Pres., Brittna Sirnpsonp Secretary, Caroline Kennedyg Treasurer, Loi Nguyen. This organization is working towards its goal of developing knowledge, responsibility, and independence in 88 the out of doors. Officers include: Pres. Ray Perez, V. Pres. Helmuth Block, Sec.
