Sue Melton Virginia Wolfartb Charles Etta Bell Grace Wlson Counselor Home-School Coordinator Librarian Nurse JQCJUQ f The Health Careers Incentive Program grant at HSHP began in the Fall of 1981. Our school is the recipient of this three year special grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The purpose of this grant is to assist under- represented students who plan to enter pre- professional and professional health career programs. The sixty-five senior students in the program are receiving intensive counseling as well as instruction in study skills, test taking skills, and reading and math enrichment. Lectures by selected adult role models as well as visits to local and out-of-town col- leges are a part of this experience. V , ,,, M W may .
