Students are introduced tothe health care professions by working on a variety of tasks throughout the Medical Center. They may receive training in nursing care, dietary services, laundry, supply services or other special areas. Many other Veterans Administration Medical Centers and clinics are involved in the educa- tion of health professionals from 102 medical schools and 1,600 professional and technical schools in the associated health professions around the country. The Dallas VA Medical Center is pleased to cooperate with the Dallas Independent School District program of ex- cellence and welcomes its graduates who return for employment or further training.
