One of the most popular services of the club is the Christian Fellowship Club Choir which boasts 110 members, and is conducted by Ms. Starks. Ms. Sandra Smith is the co-sponsor. Officers are: Pres. The Club provides interested students with the op- portunity to further develop communication skills. The development of these skills will primarily come from recreational speaking ex- periences. Recent performances were Sbut and Bar the Door, a one-act comedy that just tickled our giggle, a Reader's Theatre rendition of The Night Before Christmas that was simply cute, a Reader's Theatre presentation of the Harlem Rennaissance including Tell Pharaoh. The purpose of the club is to promote understanding of the hispanic cultures while enjoying the various activities of club membership. The sponsor is Ms. janetjaffa. The NADA Bio Science Club is a newly formed club this year. The purpose of the club is to bring together people who are interested in the sciences. Eligible students are members of the Bio Science cluster, students in Advanced Chemistry, and any student interested or recommended by teachers. The club sponsored the school's first annual Science Symposium which brought students from all over Dallas to our school. The club sponsor is Mr. Bill Neal. The Allied Youth Peer Counselors are selected on the basis of teacher,s recom- mendation and spend time training and then tutoring jr. High and Elementary students about alcohol and drug use. There are 25 students involved in this select group. Sponsor is Mrs. Starks. They also spend time during the spring at a retreat for all students fnationallyj in- volved in Allied Youth. This organization has no officers. It does have gr'9up leaders.
