Once a year the G.A.A. sponsors the very popular Cour- With their equipment in hand the managers are ready to tesy Dance. This Year's theme was Everyone's Gone to play. In the above pic- ture the Pep Club inspired rooting section cheers on our Varsity football team to victory led by our songleaders and cheerleaders. Then, onthe left, a welcoming commit- tee was waiting for our players to run through the H , ' A peppy stand-up rally was held in the Plaza before taking off for our first T football game in Ukiah. These two pictures show two of our rallies held in our new gym before a home game. They were really hard work, but it was worth it. 43

BLOCKETTES Blockette officers are: Connie Kincade vice-presidentg Yvonne Mosher secreta Standin ' Joanna'Stanle treasurerg and This is the second year that the- Block- ettes has been in existence. Up until two years ago Blockettes was a part of G.A.A. The requirements for membership are that each girl must maintain an A or B average in physical education. Through the com- bined efforts of the Blockettes and G.A.A. we have the Courtesy Dance. This year their activities included a brunch, a fudge sale, and cookie and cake sales. . VY- S - Y. Carolyn Sager, president. Once again the annual G.A.A. Courtesy Dance was a roaring SUCCESS. One of the after school G.A.A. activities is intramural volleyball.
