In the above pic- ture the Pep Club inspired rooting section cheers on our Varsity football team to victory led by our songleaders and cheerleaders. Then, onthe left, a welcoming commit- tee was waiting for our players to run through the H , ' A peppy stand-up rally was held in the Plaza before taking off for our first T football game in Ukiah. These two pictures show two of our rallies held in our new gym before a home game. They were really hard work, but it was worth it. 43

Up until two years ago Blockettes was a part of G.A.A. The requirements for membership are that each girl must maintain an A or B average in physical education. Through the com- bined efforts of the Blockettes and G.A.A. we have the Courtesy Dance. This year their activities included a brunch, a fudge sale, and cookie and cake sales. . VY- S - Y.
