F. F. A. Sweetheart, Linda Campbell. Future Farmers of America - F. F. A. trains its members in agricultural vocations and strives to develop leadership and excellence in rural agriculture. Linda Campbell is this year's Chapter Sweetheart. She will be the group's representa- tive of F.F.A. in the annual R'edwood Empire Invitational Basketball Tournament Queen Con- test and will reign over the Future Farmer's Fair in May. ART CLUB The Healdsburg High School Art Club is active in many school functions. They play a major roll lLeft to rightl : Terry Stringfellow, president: Joanne Gromo, secretaryg Tim Harrington, vice president. Teri Mansfield, Barbie Meyer, and Ruth Uboldi trim Rudolph. during the annual Redwood Empire Invitational Tournament by decorating Smith Robinson Gym. Art Club sponsors a candidate in the Tournament Queen Contest each year. This year, Monett Zunino was the representative. The club earns money by charging a nominal fee for its services, and this year for the first time, the club had an Art Auction in which the art work of the members was sold. The Art Club income goes to a scholarship fund for awards at the end of the year to its most promising students. Due to the artistic abilities of the Art Club mem- bers, many school activities are decorated. The ad- visor again this year was lVlr. PEP CL B President Cheryl Holt, Vice-President Connie Dudley, Secretary-Treasurer Barbara Pfaffenberger The Pep Club was created six years ago this year to promote school spirit This year they sold pompons and root- ed in special sections at the games. In the above pic- ture the Pep Club inspired rooting section cheers on our Varsity football team to victory led by our songleaders and cheerleaders. Then, onthe left, a welcoming commit- tee was waiting for our players to run through the H , ' A peppy stand-up rally was held in the Plaza before taking off for our first T football game in Ukiah. These two pictures show two of our rallies held in our new gym before a home game. They were really hard work, but it was worth it. 43
