Our exchange student, Sandro Carpi. Alessandro fSandroJ Carpi arrived at San Francisco International Airport during the late summer of 1965. There he met his American par- ents, the Alvin Cadds. Sandro's home lies near Milan, Italy, in the Po Valley. This is a rich agricultural area with many diversified crops being cultivated. Sandro arrived in time to help with the harvesting of prunes in our area. Fishing and hunting are two sports that have captivated Sandro's attention in Healdsburg as well as tennis. He is also an active participant in the drama productions and enjoys the opportunity to use his English. His warm personality, delightful smile, and outgoing manner have insured Sandro of many Healdsburg friends. Our wish is that Sandro will return again to visit Healdsburg.
