Wildcats in the annual Thanksgiving Day classic. The Mounts won three out of eleven contests defeating Pottsville, Berwick, and West Hazleton. Guard Rinaldo Pecile received a position on the All-State Big 33. He also gained nation-wide recognition by being assigned a place on the high school All-American squad. The record may not have sparkled with wins, but the spirit reached an all-time high. We offer our heartiest congratulations to our team of 1959 for their outstanding accomplishments. The Mounts were a comparatively green team, with only one letter- man back, nevertheless they managed to take the second half honors in the tough East Penn League having a neat 5f0 record. The Seranymen had the best season in a long time as they finished with an overall record of 15-5. Only two of these five losses were in league competition at 'AS rl FRANK SERANY COACH 1,9 the hands of A.C.C. and Easton. The most cherished accomplishment was the defeat of Allentown High, both home and away. Rinaldo Pecile received several honors for H.H.S.
