FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSIONS The head of the Federal Com- munications Commission supervises the educational program of the entire Hazleton School District and makes suggestions to the Board of Directors, concerning policies to be followed. Mr. Hinkle is responsible for the ex- ecution of the Board's decisions, which pertain to the educational program. It is largely through his efforts that Station H. H. S. has maintained such a high rating. KL-- XY gigl' Superintendent THOMAS L HINKLE Ph B M S It is the responsibility of the Federal Communications Commission to regulate the policies which each television station must follow The commission grants licenses and carefully scrutimzes the program of each station Our Board of Directors manages the budget allocates funds awards contracts for the purchase of supplies and construction of build ings flfcts and dismisses teachers adopts resolutions concerning the operation of the schools and enforces the state sc oo aws 'X 10
