Seneca UZQM 0411411047 The tlme was September nlneteen hundred and forty three The scene was the Hazleton Hlgh School Thls was the first act of a three act play entltled The Class of 46 Thelr Asplratlons and Achlevements A synopsls reveals that although at first they stood a tr1fle ln awe of thelr Alma Mater the Class of 46 grew to love her and soon entered 1nto the varlous act1v1t1es The members of the cast proved adro1t 1n everythlng they undertook and at the fall of the curtam well deserved applause was thelrs In the second act four leadlng characters were lntroduced Jack Kenvm presxdent LOIS Knxes VICE pres1dent Carmella Roman secretary and James Humes treasurer They played thelr parts expertly brlnglng emlnence and dlstlnctlon to thelr class Related ln the thlrd act were the events whlch culm1nated thelr hxgh school Pat Capece Harry Delsroth Lo1s KHISS and Nell Cusat were chosen to portray the leadlng roles The h1ghl1ghts of th1s act were the pre senlor day dance w1th muslc by Art Wendell and Senlor Day ltself celebrated by the s1de spllttlng comedy Feudln In The Hllls and the hot Jazz of the H H S Swlng Band dlrected by Mlke Bugllo And then began the second and final scene of Act III For the last t1me the senlors dlsplayed thelr talents and versatlllty ln the Senlor Farewell program and the Commencement play These the Senlor Prom and the Baccalaureate SQFVICE all were the ev ents precedmg the cllmax of the play whlch was Commencement lhe curtam lowered and the cast shed a few tears for that was thelr Hn1l performance drum O O , ' 1 n 61 , D f q 4 Q 7, , 1 . 7 , l 7 1 7 . 7 ' .
