At first the wind starts out slowly Then picks up as the minutes pass. I can look out the window and see a leaf float softly to the ground. As it falls the wind grabs a hold of it and whips it to the other side of the tree. My attention shifts to the wind as it starts hissing through the trees. The grass ripples like little waves of the ocean. Paper, leaves and anything loose the wind takes hold of swirls around and around, first to the left and then to the right like a wild animal clawing in a cage. I can watch the wind for hours and feel the shivers go up and down my spine. As I watch, it slowly dies until nothing moves but a leaf falling slowly to the ground without making a sound. Silence returns. -Joanne Crawford Friendship is, , . Friendship is like a rainbow, bright, beautiful and bold. Friendship is like snow, it comes and it goes. Friendship is like the sun, it's bright and warm. Friendship is like a mountain, it has its peaks. Friendships are like cherries, They have their pits. Friendship is like a healthy plant, it grows and it grows. -Teresa Proulx ,X n T- X V 4 A ' 51,4 Tl ,gef F H ' ik Lf, ' e s T Jw ,- F gb?
