It is made up of members of Stage Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Concert Band. Pep Band plays at all the home basketball games, and raises the spirit of the Student Body. It has been called the most spirited group at Hazen. A . ff ,,,- if V DECA The 1978-1979 year was a successful one for the Hazen Distributive Educa- tion Club. The thirty members of the class particpated in and initiated many activities for their school, community, and their citie's morale. The class gath- ered old toys for Toys for Tots, ap- peared on a local television show, held a dance, and had numerous fund raisers. Two of the more important fund raisers were the sale of Almond Roca and their participation in a dance marathon, both were for muscular dystrophy, the offi- cial charity of the Distributive Educa- tion Clubs of America.
