Homecoming: Pep Week This year the Homecoming theme was Old Days by Chicago. The week be- fore the Homecoming game was again the scene of the traditional Homecom- ing Pep Week. Monday was Grub Day, and everyone wore their grubbiest. There was also a pie-eating contest, tug-of-war, and the door decorating contest. Tuesday was Twins Day, Backwards Day, fwhen the girls do things for the guysj and hall decorations. Wednesday was Class Day. The Seniors wore all the buttons they had collected, Juniors wore funny hats and T-shirts, Sophomores wore T-shirts, ties or scarves, and sunglasses, and the Freshmen wore odd shoes and rolled-up pants. Thursday was Green, Gold and Blue Day, with a car bash during lunches, the car caravan, and Pep Rally. Friday afternoon was the Powder Puff Football Game, and that evening was the Homecoming Game against the Kennedy Lancers. The Highland Dancers performed before the game, and the half-time entertain- ment honored past Queens, and this year's courtg Princesses Ann Greer, Dawn Hemenway, Laura Herman and Karen Snyder, and Queen Cindy Glenn. For once each voice hushed and every eye focused on the podium as appro- priate names were read. Crowned as members of the 1975 Homecoming Court were: Princesses Dawn Hemen- way, Karen Snyder, Ann Greer, and Laura Herman. This years Homecom- ing Queen was Cindy Glenn. lj.
