Training for leadership stressed involvement. involvement was orientation and pep assemblies. lt meant your home-room buying more S.B.A. tickets. It meant carving the fanciest pumpkin, And electing a Junior Princess. In short, it was finding your thing and doing it. 13

Not pictured: Paul Ernst 14 Girls Girl's and Boy's Club's worked to build friendship among the girls and boys of Hazen High by organizing fun and worthwhile activities through- out the year. This past year, the Girls Club had a car wash, elected girls-of- the month, had a Petticoat Barnyard Ball, a Tolo, a canned food drive, and ended the year with a Mother's Tea. The Boy's Club was very busy with the money raising car bash, the Hazen- Renton Faculty Game, and the Boy's Club Scholarship Fund. Girl's Club was led by President, Sue Soliday, Vice-President Toni Cernich and Secretary Shawna Montgomery Boys Club in-nuff M329 W . f r is f ,, W , I, . Q Club and were assisted by their cabinet: Ka- ren Hanson, Newsletter Chairman, Carol Eckloff, Historian, lean Salter, Publicity Chairman, Cheryl Houser, Hostess, lill C-arrison, Friendship, Paula Morgan, Girl-of-the-Month, Annette Holmstrom, Foster Child, Lorretta Bos- tock and Lynda Carr, Freshman Repre- sentatives. The Boy's Club Cabinet who assisted President, Don Danielson, Vice-Presi- dent, Harold Hawkins and Secretary, Gary Wieman are Tom Ewing, Bob Bar- den, Doug Ternet, Dick Gray, Bruce Palmer, Bob Gray, Paul Ernst, lim lacobson, and Frank Davidson.
