Thursday evening Coronation took place in the gym. where King Mike and Queen Jackie were crowned. Coronation was followed by the traditional bonfire at the football field to fire up fans and players. Fridays pep rally entertainment was furnished by the SLAVES, the Hazen Highlights and the homecoming band FESTIVAL. The downtown parade was followed by the Bison Boosters Fleishfeuklia fry. N Geist W Roth-Candy Banquet Chormen The Highlights started out their season by performing to Rock Rock TH You Drop at halftime of the homecoming football game We were invited to perform at Center, the St. Marys Holiday Tourneys and the State Class B in Bismarck On February 11 the Highlights traveled to Jamestown to the State Drill Team Competition where they placed 3rd with their Safety Dance Routine We performed all 4 nights of the District Tourneys, dressing up in 50's costumes and dancing around to 'Betty Lou's got a New Pair of Shoes. and painting our faces and doing a robot routine to ,Romeo The finale to our season ended with the dance routine to Far From Over theme from St ay in Alive.
