George Amsden The Glass Menagerie placed first in district competition, and later on won third at state competition. Mont Blaisdell received the award for best actor at the district festival. At the district speech festival, held in Bismarck, the Hazen team won the Sweepstakes trophy for first place. Members of the team who did well there were Julie Kruckenberg, 1st in Dramatic Interp., Mont Blaisdell, 1st in Speech to Entertain, Tom Balas, 4th in Speech to Entertain, Laurie Schoenrock, 1st in Serious Interp., Beth Balas, 2nd in Serious Interp., and Eydie Wolf, 1st in Extemp. Hazen's FHA chapter had a busy year during 75-76. They hosted the 1975 district rally where Sharon Sailer ran for President. Other projects were a slumber party, caroling, making a crazy quilt, and a Bicentennial Fashion Show. The last activity of the year was the annual Parent-Daughter Banquet where Linda Sapp was named the Outstanding FHA'er.
