Shy , ' as G.A. . 3-4, Cl b 2-3, ' 1 ' 1 , ' s Slnce the sensor class of l958 IS a group of sophnstlcated intellectuals we have decided agalnst common bragglng, so we wnll glve you only the plaln unadulterated facts' Agaln we say nntellectual for you have only to look at the sux weeks honor roll and whose names dad you see'-7 Mnlbern G Eda V Robyn S Barbara H Jeanette P , and then look at the B honor roll and the C honor roll and we could go on and on and on Now music us a field whlch our class really stars At the Muslc Festlval at Busmarck Hazen was given 'I2 hughly superior ratmgs all because of the seniors and their superior tech nlque or the first tume our band came home wlth a highly superuor ratlng, every flrst chaur nn he band IS occupied by a sensor except two, and that s because there arent any sensors an those two sectuons Well anyway now back on the sublect' Agaln In Bnsmarck Mllbern was gaven a hnghly superlor for hrs clannet solo, Eda got a hnghly superior for hls vocal solo and has trumpet solo The maxed quartet, composed of all sensors, was also given a highly superior ratlng These are only a few of the hlghly superlor ratmgs that were brought home due to the sennors Colletta A has been such an excellent baton twurler, she has been offered a posutnon by one of the nation s leadmg bands but she has declmed because of bobbing nnterests here at home Our own Robyn S has excelled an many fuelds she was the only Hazen Hugh School Barbara H, and Robyn S have both been such wonderful accompamsts for the band and chorus Our class had many potential athletes, but after much serious consideration It was decuded to put book learmng flrst, and athletucs as secondary besides we thought It would do the Juniors good to get ln a little practice Nor will we ever be excelled when ut comes to Proms the class of 1958 put on the most spectacular prom with the least lnslgnlflcant amount of money' Our theme was Apple Blossom Tame why lt was so terrlflc that the lumors copied at this year' Under the expert supervlseon of Ruta Johnson, our class staged the play Arsenic and Old Lace It was the best play ever put on at Hazen Hugh, for who else could slaughter em as we dad 13 with only one sup' Our school paper IS of top luterary value only because of the concentrated efforts of the Senior Co editors, Helen M and Glsela N Our paper was voted top high school paper lh the natron, by the Unlverslty of Krem The class of 58 has some of the best mechanics an the country At Edwm Saller s farm, and under hrs expert supervlslon you ll fund Hubert S Dallas R Denms J, and Ervln and If your car needs fuxen, they ll do the lab, and It wall never be the same agam We also have some of the best dancers In our class, why they never mlss a dance' Now perhaps, to an outslder, this mlght have a slnght touch of concert, but you, who know us for what we are Jg- nygh-ty and Q1'dy ' T.
