A bombardment ot rising prices and increasing unem- ployment coupled with energy, paper and food shortages told the story. The Silent Majority was torced to sound otti as they found themselves trapped hy the existing circumstances. There was no way ot shielding youth from these prohlems as speed-limit reductions, empty meat counters and Christmas light hlaclcouts invaded the normal routine, ..
