1978 Viking Yearbook Staff Proudly Dedicates the 1978 Yearbook to Mr. Tom Stephens Helpful and a friend to all students, best describes Mr. Tom Stephens. Tom, as he is known to all students, is a member of the evening custodial staff at H PH S, but his value to the school goes beyond that of his custodial duties. There is hardly a student around who has been in the high school in the evening who didn't need to have a door opened, or help in finding some important item in the school, or advice on how to handle a particular project. Tom was the man to find, and he was the one who did it with a friendly smile and a helpful attitude. Tom is a graduate of Hazel Park High School and an HP resident. During the six years he has been working at the high school, he has made things easier for those needing his assistance. In addition, Tom has been an avid fan and booster of HP sports through his activities in the Quarterback Club. For his devoted interest in the students and activities at HP, we think Mr. Stephens is a very special man, and we are proud to dedicate the 1978 Viking yearbook to Tommy.
