TOGETHER WE GRKED LE ED, D PRO PERED Through togetherness our school, community, and even our country have prospered this year. Working together has contributed to the activities that have highlighted the school year. Moving to the new school March 11, the biggest event of this year, was completed successfully because of cooperation by everyone, making it possible to begin classes on March 15. By participating in the many extra curricular activities like sports, clubs, class and school projects, we havegained individual experience and a broader education. Just as togetherness was important, individualism was not overlooked. Every individual has thoughts, ideas, and beliefs, and when these are combined with others, the end result is good. Leadership was a good example of this in- dividualism. Our club and class officers, student council, and sport leaders clearly illustrated how leadership and working to- gether, a kind of individualistic togethernessj' brought us valuable learning experience. Looking through the 1959-60 review of this school, it can be seen how working, learning, and playing together have made this the best year in the history of Hazel Park High School.
