Math was stressed as a necessity With the advent of the missile age, science and math received a great deal of emphasis the past few years. A workable knowledge of mathematics, therefore, became a necessity. Through prescribed math courses, students found their interests and vocations better realized with such computational training. Through logic and reason- ing, math provided an invaluable aid in our becoming educated citizens.
