When asked whaf momenfs she would remember abouf her year af Hayward, Trudie replied: A'l'fending Hayward high school has surely been a wonderful experience. Years from now, as I look back on fhe pasf fen monfhs, I will have many happy memories fo recall: from my firsf excifing, buf confusing, day af school, fo fhe fulfillmenf of a senior year: graduafion. Of all fhe fhings I have enioyed, parficular evenfs sfand ouf in my mind such as fhe foofball games which presenfed fhe spirif of fhe school, fhe Downfown Rally wifh all ifs noise, and fhe school dances where I mef so many friends. I will always remember fhe beaufy of fhe Chrisfmas fesfival and fhe fun of fhe Senior Exfravaganza. The benches on fhe lawn and apples af snackfime are alsc parf of happy school days, and I don'f fhink I will ever forgef +he ferm paper! The closing memory of a happy school year, fhe Senior Ball, was incomparable. Buf whaf impresed me fhe mosf, and whaf I will always carry wifh me from Hayward high school, is fhe memory of how friendly everyone was fo me: how fhey all made me feel af home.
