The Plow was presenled in l93l and accepred wiih greal fervor and given prominence, 'rhen slowly faded inio 'rhe background, from +he irophy case info a black corner in 'rhe s+uden+ body office. This year LeRoy Pegis and ihe fall Execufive Council decided ihis was no place for a greal symbol lo die. They raised 'rhe plow +o Hs former grealness and i+ once again reigned over 'rhe gridiron. The Hayward Plow now occupies a special irophy case above 'rhe audiiorium door and illusiraies ihe proud symbol of a greal school.
