McIntyre gets ‘BEST OF SHOW’ A pastel painting by Gene McIntyre entitled Sunflower” was awarded best of show” honors in the Delta Fair's High School Art Show at Kennett. Gene also went on to win two more blue ribbons for his color pencil and pencil drawings entitled Chicken Yard” and Apple Hill.” Gene is pictured at left holding his prize-winning Sunflower.” BENFORD RECEIVES GOLD MEDALLION Tony Benford won a gold medallion for his pencil drawing entitled Farm House” when he entered his drawing at Arkansas State University. Tony also received second, third, and an honorable mention at the Delta Fair when he entered his works entitled Farmer. “Farm House,” and “Collage.” 11
