To a few Hayti High is “just a school,” but to the majority of students it is the place where we learned together, shared together, and had a lot of fun together. Since we compete against most 3A schools, Hayti has a surprising record with over 30 trophies for the 1983-84 year. Sophomore Aaron Cooper was the president and looks forward to a big junior year. Tonya Whitener really shined as the MVP of the team. She has competed two years and accumulated over 15 trophies in Prose, Poetry, Duet and Dramatic.
