Because of his untiring and unselfish work as English teacher and custodian of the library, because of his scholarly attitude in the classroom, and most of all, because in him we see a challenge to each of us, we dedicate the 1957 Council to Mr. Bruce Cole.

Since faces of friends and memories fade, we have tried to picture in an interesting way a year that cannot be forgotten at Hayti High.
