iS { OREWORD We are sure that you feel as we do when we say that this has been one of the most enjoyable years of our lives. Since faces of friends and memories fade, we have tried to picture in an interesting way a year that cannot be forgotten at Hayti High. The Council is presented to you with the hope that it will be a reminder of the classes, ball games, parties, friends and teachers and that it will help you to relive this year of 1957. CONTENTS I ADMINISTRATION II CLASSES III SPORTS IV ORGANIZATIONS V FEATURES VI ADVERTISING 1 )  1 â §â i 1 -n BRUCE COLE Looking to the future of Hayti High as well as to the past, we look also to one who has done so much in so short a time. Because of his untiring and unselfish work as English teacher and custodian of the library, because of his scholarly attitude in the classroom, and most of all, because in him we see a challenge to each of us, we dedicate the 1957 Council to Mr. Bruce Cole. Hayti High School HAYTI, MISSOURI ALMA MATER Hayti High, Our Alma Mater Guide us by thy perfect light; In the way that we must travel Help us choose from wrong the right. W. DEAN LEFT HALFBACK G. W. Dean scored about 107 points last year. This boy was one of the best backs in the Little Six Conference. He was very aggress- ive on offense and defense. He has the promise of making a fine high school passer and runner. He made All Conference the Little Six. ERNEST CHISM LEFT TACKLE Ernest was one of the best linemen in this section. He weighed about 240 pounds and was very fast for a tackle. His leadership and devotion to the game helped contribute to last year's successful season. Ernest will be greatly missed when football season starts next fall. This boy was selected on All Conference. WON 6, LOST 2 David King, Ernest Chism, Tommy Burns and G. W.
