DEDICATION P Through our years of study in Hayti High School we have had a genial companion and helper in our teacher, Mrs. Carl Sigler. Truly she has been one of us in our work and play, our fun and worries. Much of the vibrance, color, and happiness of these years has been contributed by her vitalizing presences. With her we have shared our problems and our dreams and she has always understood perfectly. She has not hesitated to praise where praise was due, nor to correct where correction was needed. Because she is to us a dear friend, we, the seniors of the staff, do dedicate this 1948 Council to Mrs. Carl Sigler on the eve of her 30 years of service to boys and girls in the state of Missouri.

FOREWORD May this annual in the years to come prove one of your most cherished possessions, recalling pleasant memories and happy associations of the past four years. This year book was published to record our activities and achievements, and we trust it will prove both an inspriation and guidance to all future graduating classes of Hayti High School. We hope that each succeeding class will perpetuate this publication, striving to im- prove the work of the preceding class, and thus carry on the worthy work. The Class of ’48 wishes to express their apprecia- tion to the faculty, members of the student body, and business and professional men of Hayti, who have co- operated with us, making the publication of this year book possible.
