HONOR BAND This year is the third year of the honor band. To get in the honor band the student must be auditioned. According to his or her talent the student shall be placed in the jr. High Band or the Honor Band. During the year the honor band works on numbers for con certs. There are two main concerts during the year. One is at Christmas time and the other one in the spring. In April or May the Honor Band goes to all of the grade schools and gives a small concert for each school. s eem' W 38

This is the 1972-73 Junior High Band. Mem- bership to the band is open to anyone desiring to play if they have had at least the equivalent of 18 weeks study on an in- strument. The band is in- cluded in all regular school marching activities and presents itself in con- cert during the school year. A major portion of our study is on basic in- strumental methods.
