In card club we play many different lcinds of cards. For example: we play pitch, rummy, solitary, canasta, sixty six, forty five, and hearts. A variety of tournaments are held during the year. The Model Club is a group of boys whose hobby is making models of cais, airplanes, boats, trucks, tanks, mo- torcycles, etc. The club meets 3 days a week during 4th hour to work on the models. In the spring, a contest is held to determine the top three entries in each major area, motor vehicles, aircrafts, and boats. A trophy is awarded to the top three entries in each category.

1 ! r HAYSVILLE TEEN CLUB BUILDS LEADERS The Haysville Teen Club is an organization of young women representing the youth in today's world. We, a group of Christian women, endeavoring to grow in character, in friendship with people of all races, religions, and nationalities, also strive to grow in the knowledge and love of God. We strive to do projects for the nursing home, the children's homes, our school and civic organizations, such as the United Nations Children's Fund. The sponsors are Mrs. Hamblin, Mrs. Fulton and Mis, Allen. LEARN HANDICRAFTS THROUGH HOME ECCETTES CLUB FIRST ROW: P. Venable, T. Fahnholz, C. Shipman, K. Palmer, C. Reed, P. Coffey, S. Rogers, SECOND ROW: Z. Burgess, V. Murrow, V. Cook, C. Schauf, M. Chambers, D. Offield, THIRD ROW: Mrs. Tjaden, Sponsor, D. Sturchio, O. Jackson, C. Schofield, G. Webb. The Home Eccettes Club is composed of a group of 8th grade girls. The girls are offered the opportunity to learn many different types of handicrafts, among these are knitting, crocheting and embroidering. The sponsor is Mrs. Tjaden. SPANISH CLUB HAS BUSY YEAR FIRST ROW- J. McQuilkin, S. King, J. Elliott, G. Hargrove, L. Cole, K. Dorsey, E. Atkinson, T. White, SEC- OND ROW: W. Reichmann, M. Friend, I. Elliott, D. jack, I. Hunt, R. Harlan, R. Snyder, B. Gordanier, THIRD ROW: Mrs. Fosmire, Sponsor, R. Green, E. Rader, D. Holman, K. Clothier, W. Vickers, G. Smith, S. Barton. The members of the Spanish Club elected joe Elliott President, Geri Smith, Vice- President, Shelly Barton, treasurer and Ellen Rader, Treasurer. They decided to make it a social club, with some cultural activities. Bake sales were held to raise money for game prizes and field trips. Members also enjoyed playing bingo, learning the Mexican Hat Dance, singing songs in Spanish, and other activities. 'K l

Adams, T. Berry, T. Martin, S. Smith, W. Brickley, J. Beard, W. Deaver, THIRD ROW: E, Every, J. Tairal, L. Pulsifur, S. Smith, B. Clark, M. McDonould, I. Chrisman, R. Stienle, B. Thomas. The Science Club provides a joint meeting place and time for students to share ideas and interests they have in science. This is an excelleant opportunity for each student to study further his personal interests both in library research and laboratory experiments with more individual counseling by the advisor. Each student is expected to enter a project of their special interest in the spring District Science Fair. To encourage interest in areas of science not covered in the science class, films may be shown, speakers brought in and field trips are taken. Other participation fsociallyj includes: parties, dances and picnics. INDUSTRIAL ARTS CLUB WORKS ON MANY PROJECTS FIRST ROW: M. Lasiter, D. Crapse, J. Hamilton, K. Boote, R. Loveall, L. Ward, SECOND ROW: B. Potter, 1. Denton, D. Hammel, C. Schneiter, R. joy, TI-HRD ROW: Mr. Mellon, Sponsor, H. Byram, R. Barton, I. Hartman, F. Cohlmia, J. Chrisman. The Industrial Arts Club worked on their projects, played touch football and had recreation in the gym. They helped build a bass music stand for the music department and did repair work on our school sign.
