Science Club is an honorary organization. The members are chosen on the basis of a high grade point average in all classes as well as an outstanding interest in science. All members of the club compete in the annual Dist- rict Science Fair, which was held this year in the gym March 12 and 13. Those students who submitted projects that earned blue ribbons at the district, went on to competition in the Regional Science Fair in Wichita. The club also took several fieldtrips during the year to places such as Wesley Medical Center, the planetarium at Hutchinson, and Veterinary Day at Kansas State University in Manhattan. Seventh grade members are chosen to join at the end of the first nine weeks. This year new seventh grade members were honored by a Welcoming Party. A picnic in the spring concluded the years social activities for the group. HA YSVILLE TEEN CL UB The Haysville Teen Club is an organization of young women representing the youth in today's World. We, a group of Christian women, endeavoring to grow in character, in friendship with people of all races, religions and nationalities, also strive to grow in the lcnowledge and love to God. We realize our most important goal is to develop specific projects that will enable us to promote good relationships at home, school, in the community, nation and world. The purpose of the organization is to develop attitude of, and practice in good citizenship, promote harmonious relations throughout the entire school, improve student- teacher relationship, improve school morale, assist in the management of the school, provide a forum for students expression, provide orderly direction of school activities, charter school clubs and other organizations, and pro- mote the welfare of the school.
