Bak tiict nr tan Jennifer Ann CnlUui S Jennifer has been one of the top students of her class. She is taking college prep courses and is going to attend V.P.I. in Blacksburg, Virginia. She plans to enter in the fall. Her average is 4. 05 which makes her tied for first place in the senior class. Jennifer is a straight A student, and an active participant in various clubs. She was selected to the Society of American High Schools ' Most Outstanding Students. Last fall Jennifer was the captain of our Haysi cheerleaders, and is now a basketball cheer¬ leader. With far-seeing eyes we build and hope and plan. Yesterday is but a memory; Today is soon gone, but To¬ morrow lives forever. 21

Mrs. Deel decided to come back as a senior and finish her education in order to get a good job to help support her family - she is taking business courses. She is tied for first place in her graduating class with an average of 4.04. The students average is based on a scale with the highest score an A or 4. , so Mrs. Deel’s average is better than an A. After Today there is always Tomorrow. Progress opens her golden hand to reveal the promises of the years to come.
