l GRADU TIO 1973 The Baccalaureate Service was held in our high school gymnasium on May 20th 1978. The Reverend Allan Vrieze led the service. The Mixed Chorus sang two selections en- titled, O Lord God and Somewhere , On May 24th, ninety students filed into the gymnasium. This was graduation night for the seniors of 73 whose memories of Hayfield High School will never be forgotten. The Commencement Exercises began with the Invocation given by Father James , and the Mixed Chorus, who sang Morning Star . Next were the speeches the Salutatorian, Jane Wollenburg, Class Representative, Jeanne Buelt, a reading Lindy Doughan, Class Representative, John Himle, and the last by the 1973 Valedic- Valerie Hamilton. John Linbo, president of the school board, presented the se- with their diplomas. This year's Citizenship Awards were presented to Lynette and John Himle by Vic Dvorak, Legion Commander. The Mixed Chorus sang Hands Of Time followed by Father James McCauley who gave Benediction This Commencement Exercise for 1973.
