PRIMARY NEWS When school opened in September we had an enrollment of 30 pupils, but during the year Jimmie and Judy Helps moved to South Dakota, Diane Herringa enrolled at Mason City, Ronnie Green left us and moved to Thompson, and Verona Streyle entered a -school near Garner. Jerry Perkins was the only new student enrolling during the school year. Hecarne from Crystal Lake. The different holidays were observed by us in their order. Appro- priate room decorations were made for each and parties were enjoyed. Christmas gifts were exchanged. The seasons were also studied and dec- orations used in keeping with them. We each had a part in the Thanksgiving and Christmas programs which were presented to the public. Many birthdays were observed with parties and treats during the school year. Birthdays are real red-letter days in our lives. The dental card campaign was our big project in health this year. We worked for 10073 return of cards.
