Identification.-Sophomore Class ' fFront row-L. to R., Mrs. Edwin Bock, Robert Johnson, Wanita Schnebly, Glennis Hutson, Don Mallow, Charlotte Brown, Eugene Horecka. S fBack row-L. to R., Mona Lowe, Dean Geddes, Margaret Nedved, Clarence Stupka, james Busch, Frances Kiefer. JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY On September 4, 194-7, two girls and seven boys chose desks in the junior section. Everyone was eager to learn, whether it might be mischiev- ous pranks or lessons. Election of class officers took place. They were elected as follows: Herbert Heller, President: Sylvester Blank, Vice-President: Winona Schnebly, Secretary and Treasurer. Two of the junior boys did not go out for basketball, but the re- maining were the first five on the first team. When girls basketball started, both junior girls participated. We are proud of those on the two teams. Winona and Ardith were active in the Soprano section of the girls Glee Club. All junior boys were members of the fall and spring baseball team. They did very well, with Dale and Virgil as the battery. W Winona was elected one of the cheerleaders. SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY On September 4, 1947, twelve eager Sophomores set out to write a new chapter in their book of life. The boys and girls were equal in number. Mrs. Bock was appointed our class sponsor, and in a short period of time, we elected class officers. They are as follows: Clarence Stupka, Presidentg Dean Geddes, Vice-Presidentg Frances Kiefer, Sec- retary and TreasurergDon Mallow, ReP01'feA1'- Eugene Horecka and Glennis Hutson were elected Student Council members from our class. All the girls in our class belong to Glee Club,, directed by Mrs. Bock. Mona. Lowe and Glennis Hutson are also in the sextette. One of our important events of the year was provided by our Sup- erintendent, Mr. Stice. The Sophomore Class and our sponsor, Mrs. Bock were all guests at a movie party. Don Mallow was elected a. member of the Pep foursome. All the boys went out for basketball and some of the girls. We enjoyed the team- work and drilling .............. !
