Parisian model, was appearing at the Slick Chick Style Show. I was determined to attend the affair of astonished women. A I inquired from a pedestrian as to the location of the Slick Chick Style Shop. I found my way to the heavenly looking joint, and got in on my snappy appearance. I was astounded at the appearance of an old friend on the stage. She gave me a greeting with a shriek and a Why Buschy, ya old son-of-a- gun . Well, l nearly fell over. It was Eleanor I!! We chatted on as she had her wrinkles rnassaged. The odor of cheap perfume set me dizzy. But I was quickly revived by smelling salts, and bade my friend Eleanor farewell. I began my return trip to Hayfield. ' Irreturned home, and was much pleased at seeing old friends and classmates. My Travels continued, and my shoes grew thinner. What a wonderful lazy life. CLASS HISTORY Cn August 31, a group of 17 offspring entered the Hayfield School building to begin their twelve years of study. Among these were Elaine Fric and Eleanor jakoubek. Mary Ann Wellik brought her pencils and crayons to join the class a little later on in the year. Our patient teacher, Miss Mabel Earp, helped us in our adjustment to this new life. Our second year took away and added new class members. With these was Mildred Busch. We all dreaded to leave our beloved teacher, but we soon got used to our third grade room and teacher, and the different atmosphere. We trudged on through more years of fun and experience, and of course the inevitable. W01'k!! We all have II1eII10I-'ies of those years. ' Sheryl drifted in from a rural school, and continued earning her diploma from the sixth grade on. Then came the time of graduation from the eighth grade. Every girl had a new dress and a bright locket or some remembrance. There was larger class, with a few boys. Each of the thirteen got a red diploma,.and a shaky feeling inside. Our Freshman year was a meek year for a group of green brilliants. We knew all there was to know, but a few days in High School told us a little different. Our High School years have been great. We've been able to enjoy every year of it, and only wished we could live parts of those past years over again. , We want to thank our teachers, parents, and community for giving us an edu- cation, and helping us through the critical times of our' lives. Soon we'll be out in the great world to gather knowledge without our books and teachers. We are sure we will do justice to our school and our learning.
