editorial .t iq' As we leave high school we take with us memories of the past and dreams of the future. Our years here have been happy, full, and rewarding. They. have made a vivid impression on our minds that will never be blotted out by time. But we cannot live in the past. We must look forward and see what the future has to offer. Some will go on to other schools, some to the armed forces, and others to the world of business. All three are a means of furthering our education to meet the problems of tomorrow. The only thing that will keep this or any other country free is a well-educated youth. The hopes and plans of our fathers will soon be carried on our shoulders. Although we enter into a world of uneasyypeace and constant struggle between the maior powers, it will be our iob to continue the spread of democracy and education to people in other lands so that some day we might have true and lasting peace. It will be a long and hard iob, but with our ability to reason and act clearly we should win out, for these times, like all times, are good, if we but know what to do with them.
