STEPHEN W MOSHIER Supervising Principal During your high school days many persons have striven to im press upon you that Americas fu ture 1S in your hands and that you must insure our countrys progress both socially and economically In order to be a good citizen you must be capable of more than mere existence under the protection of our Constitution. You have been given an education at public expense and with it goes an obligation on your part to contribute to the nation- al growth ana preservation of our ideals. To meet this responsibility you need appropriate and complete pre- paration. This means that your grad- uation from high school should be the beginning or a lifetime desire for continuous study whether in formal institutions or by your own plan- ning. Your future continuous education should be dedicated to adjusting yourself to the demands of the mod- ern world in which you live and to the appreciation of the moral intel- lectuat and aesthetic values that are necessary in order to enjoy a satis- fying personal life.
