Baseball, 1955 style, was hoped to be similiar to the pattern set last year since the HHS Squad, then took the 1954 Minn.-Dak. Championship. The Nuggets fielded a very strong team in the 1955 opener against Hitter- dal nailing them down ll-1. Mound ace Bob Dahl collected 15 K-Z's. In the Comstock tilt the HHS team again was on top with the same score. The Nuggets then took on Dilworth and were ahead 3-0 at the end of 7 innings. The squad then traveled to Casselton where they went down in defeat 8-7 in a game that went extra innings even though there were some powerful blasts. Roger Jetvig was elected Captain. 40
