S5125 was awarded them for first prize in the state clean grain program. This fall Robert Olson, Charles Nelson, Don Honcik, Robert Krause, Kermit Bjornson, and Mr. Til- leraas attended the National FFA convention in Kansas City. The FHA was started in Hawley four years ago, One of our first projects this year was selling Betty Crocker products at all the local grocery stores, Its pur- pose was to raise money for the lighted ball park. In March, Marlene Hagelund, Marlene Olson, Joan M , V, , , , J Tangen, Mary Schultz, and Helen Turmo were sent as del- ,i., 5, , ' J 'lli egates to the State Convention in Minneapolis, Marlene I Vyizi' J it Hagelund received her State Degree, Marlene Olson was candidate of President-elect, and Joan Tangen was co- r'rr Z r 'rssr' H chairman of a discussion group, The District X meeting was held in Hawley, October 9th, with Marlene Hagelund, past district VP presiding.
