HOMECOMING On October 16-17, the High School held their second Annual Home- coming festivities. Thursday evening saw the crowning of Jean Bergan as our queen to reign over the activities. Jeanette MacDonald and Betty Dauner were her attendants. Her majesty was crowned by football co- captains, Kenny Leverson and Marv Spillum, following a variety show under the direction of Mr. Sundet in the Community Building. The ball park was the traditional burning of the West Fargo dummy. A snake dance wound up the evenings schedule. Friday's activities started with a parade at 1:30 p.m. The high school band-followed by the floats of the queen, classes, and organizations -led the parade through the business district to the gridiron. Our homecoming slogan Be Wackers, Beat Packers, backfired on us when the West Far- go Packers whacked us 54-0. The Alumni Association sponsored the dance held Friday evening which saw the conclusion of 1952's Homecoming. 31
