I -.4 611155 History Four years ago we walke d into Haw River High School as green freshmen . There were thirty-seven of us. We couldn't get use to the idea of being in high school, but with the help of our c ap able teachers we made it. At the beginning of our Sophomore year, there were only thirty-one of us left. Under the direction of Mr. Faust, We gave a Christmas Prom, Frosty's Ball , which was held in the gym. We were very proud of it. In our J unio r year, there were twenty-three of us left to continue the journey to our Senior year. That year we s po n s o r e d the Junior- Senior Banquet with the help of Miss Stadler, our teacher. We also gave the Junior Play The Ghost Walks , which we felt was a success. T he n we received our gleaming gold class rings which we Wore with pride. Now we are finally Seniors. The r e are only twenty-one of us who will gr aduate this spring. This year has been filled with excitementg we p a rti s cip ate d in such thi ng s as Senior Play, Who Killed Aunt Caroline , the Junior -Senior Banquet where we were the guests of honor, and our Washington-New York trip which was very thrilling. Soon we, dressed in our caps and gowns , will be walking down the aisle to the music of Pomp and Circumstance to receive our diplomas. With great pride and dignity we leave our beloved High School to go our separate Ways.
