As we climbed on to the third step of our ladder, V we lost several more members of our class. There were J only twenty-two enrolled. During the year, the Juniors and Seniors went on a sight seeing tour to Raleigh. We had the pleasure of 4 meeting Governor Cherry. We entertained the Seniors at a Junior-Senior Ban- -'7 ,C quet at the Alamance Hotel on March ll. It was carried f' out in Hawaiian style with our Sophomore girls acting fr. 1 J as waitresses. Reverend Brown was the delightful speak- er of the evening. .I ,-4 ri ri At lastg We have reached the last step of our lada Lv 4 w der. We have twenty-one enrolled in our class with Mrs. E Helwig as home-room teacher. We are hoping to go out - into the world to become successful men and women.
