Student photographers, headed by Gail Olson and aided by Helmbrecht Studios, appeared at every school activity, in every classroom and even in the Hdarkroomv where Bill Thackeray guided experiments in developing and enlarging the hundreds of pictures to be used. Kenji Hamaoka's design for the cover merited him a free yearbook as did Albert Karhu's ideas for the division pages. These two artists drew and developed each photogram many times before they met with the approval of Mr. Heilman, art instructor. The layout and financial burdens fell to Deanna George and Kay Thomas respectively, who spent sleep- less nights and tense days to make sure that the stu- dents of Havre High would have a complete record of this year's events.
