SPIRIT WEEK The Pep Club planned an activity for each day of Spirit Week to promote enthusiasm and spirit for league and tournament bas- ketball games. Once again the week was a big success and every- body participated in a big way. The week started off in silence. The girls were forbidden to talk to the guys. The next day everyone signed each other's T-shirts. On Wednesday, HHS students wore crazy hats and funky-look- ing socks. Thursday everyone created spirit the 50's way. Drag- ons rocked around the clock in bobby sox, saddle oxfords, cash- mere sweaters, and leather jackets. National Blue and Gold Day wrapped up the spirit-filled week. On this day, students wore anything and everything they could find that was blue andfor gold - jewelry, hair ribbons, ties, scarves, and even some finger- nail polish and glitter. , . . n' ' ..
