CLASS HI TORY The fall of 1974 bore witness to an awesome event. The great Class of '78 entered these sacred halls of ivy as timid freshmen. Those pre- sent in our crew for the 1974-75 school year were as follows: John Bertram, Bambi Carrell, Waco Cross, Ronda Davis, Louise Fank- hauser, Dean Ebert, Lori Frazier, Denise Holliday, Eva Jean John- ston, Charlotte Leininger, Glenn Monaghan, George Nall, Stephanie Philpott, Susan Riley, Lynne Ann Ross, Marcia Stewart, Carol Thompson, Marilyn Tuttle, Bill Williams, Steve Worden, and Rhonda Young. By some whim of fate, lnot to mention patience of teachers and per- secution of upperclassmenl, we achieved one more rung on the lad- der. As sophomores, we said hello to five new members: Tammy Denton, Don Hughes, Charlotte McFarland, Peter Schuler, and Janet Alex- ander. George Nall bid us adieu that year. We assumed more leader- ship and authority, lself-appointedl, over the incoming freshmen. The year passed quickly in a swirl of activities, and suddenly we were juniors. Upperclassmen! The losses outweighed the gains that year. As we waved farewell to Tammy Denton, Don Hughes, Charlotte McFar- land, Bambi Carrell, Waco Cross, Marcia Stewart, and Jim Brozec, we picked up Marvin Moon, George Nall, Marlene Fancher, Randy Preston, and Steve Slief. We shared many experiences together that year and I'm sure visions of pre-prom night tissue paper will dance in our heads for many years to come. The fall of 1977 came and unbelievably enough, we were SENIORS! Marvin Moon had left our ranks, but but Gary Getting filled the gap. This year has been filled with many events and projects-Senior Play l The Miracle Worker J, concession stands, the Senior Trip, gradu- ation, etc ..., events that have brought us closer together. Now comes the time for saying goodbye, for leaving and going our separate ways. But then you never really leave something that's in your heart 7 CITY FLORAL Sz HQHEREELQQEEZS G3El1El?.f2fA?3fE GREENHOUSES GREENSBURG KS
