Page 16 HAVILOOK 947 Class Prophecy Two vitamin B-one pills plus a glass of nitro-glycerine and we find ourselves in the future some twenty odd years. Haviland looks somewhat different than it did after leaving a few minutes ago. As I stand gazing at the gorgeous surroundings, a beautiful girl approaches and asks if I am lost. After picking up my eye-balls, I tell her I am, and she offers to show me the town. She introduces herself and she turns out to be none other than Mary Lou Yenser, a former classmate. As we proceed down the street we pass a multi-millionaire, who she tells me is William Fast. He is now the owner of twenty thousand acres of land in Antarctica. She also tells me he made his fortune with two mules and an acre of land. We then go into alarge build- ing owned by Leeth, Leeth, Leeth, and Leeth, Incorporated. This man Leeth is president of a large photography firm and has a fine business. One of his models is Miss Ruby Craft, a former Powers Model, who is working for Leeth because of that extra thousand a week. Leeth orders us banished from the building and we awake in front of the massive structure. As We are crawl- ing out of the mud, a large car drives up and out steps Robert Williams, own- er of the Boston Red Sox. They haven't lost a game since Bob took over in 1947. We wish him the best of luck in the future and go on down the street. A very loud noise is heard and a large plane roars overhead towing a huge sign. This is just another political campaign by Gordon Kimmey, mayor of Scott, who wants to become President of the United States. Skip is still up to his old tricks. As we are getting hungry, we drop into a large tea room and find the head waitress to be none other than Ianet Green assisted by Carolyn Tomlinson, who specialize in serving large dinners to servicemen, especially the Army. After eating one of the best dinners in the world, I pro- ceed with a little coaxing back to the kitchen to help with the dishes. This just goes to show what a person can do if he has a good imag- ination and a third period study hall.
