Here he is! The Man on the Street. : E Hello, folks! Here comes a group of people who seem to be enjoying E Q it all immensely. It looks like a hangover from New Years, but let's hear 5 : what they have to say. Come over just a little bit closer to the 'Mike'. : E Who is spokesman for the group? Here is a likely looking fellow. Just 5 .: what is your name and what do you do? E 5 I'm known as Professor Foust at Stanford University in Palo Alto, 5 E California. 5 5 You're a long way from home, aren't you? By the way, explain your- : 5 self. Is this a convention of some sort '?' : E Well, you see, we all graduated in the same class, back in '41, and 5 5 we thought it would be nice to get together and celebrate. : E Now that is nice! Will you introduce us to the rest of the group 7 : 2 Certainly, I'll do my best anyway. This dignified young lady here E E is Tabitha Hofacker, House Mother in Dormitory B at Vassar. The little E : blonde on her left is Velma Gusler, owner of Maidies' Beauty Salon in New 5 E York City. This attractive couple dressed in Scarlet and W'hite, is Mary E : and Larry, the dance team being featured next week at the Troc. This E 5 husky chap here is none other than Herb Mosier, owner of a 700 acre cattle E E ranch in Montana. This man in the green suit is Claude Beard, leader of E E the orchestra now showing at the ballroom of Hotel Keenan. The girl in E 5 red beside him is Amy Line, featured blues singer with his orchestra. Those 5 E two girls who are reminiscing are Dorothy Squibb, private secretary to the 5 5 President, and Caroline Myers, wife of the assistant manager of Pan- 5 E American Air Lines. Last, is this dark-haired man, William Stoller, who E E is manager of the Book-Cadillac Hotel in Detroit. That is all of the g1'oup, E E sir. Our teachers were unable to be with us. 5 : 'Well, that's all the time we have, and there they go, that class of '41, 5 2 5 D This is your man on the Street, saying so-long till tomorrow. E E Elmer Foust inherits Claude Beard's Donald Duck lingo. 5 E Velma May Gusler wills all her spare time to Wayne Keysor. 5 E Larry Mielke bestows his typewriter to anyone foolish enough to take it. E E Mary Hartwig leaves her Bookkeeping workbook to Warren Cadwallader. 5 E Tabitha Hofacker wills her numerous boy friends to Margaurite Smith who 5 : doesn't need them but who wants them anyway. 5 E Amy Line leaves her love of good literature to General Dunn.
